serving our community:

Revitalization in Progress
Look what God did:

Why Come Here?
You exist because God created you to love Him and to have an intimate relationship with Him. Perhaps you remember going to church with your family years ago and you have drifted away. Maybe you never had a church experience. Whatever your situation is, God has been waiting for you to come. He has been preparing for your arrival. Try us! We are a casual family church who love
the Lord and want to share Him with you. You matter.
What is “Federated”?
Federated means we are a blending of different denominations that form a church that welcomes all. Everyone comes just as they are, but are loved too much to be allowed to stay that way. Together we grow, learn God’s Word, and share His love.
Our Church History
Prior to 1812, Baptists worshiped in the Town of Gorham, while Presbyterians worshiped in a nearby location. By the Civil War, many of the Presbyterians became Congregationalists. Both Baptists and Congregationalists maintained separate churches in the hamlet of Reed Corners within 300 yards of each other.
In the 1940s the two churches federated sharing a pastor and alternating meeting places. Eventually the Congregational denomination became the United Church of Christ and the Baptist denomination became American Baptist Church. Some of our church members continue to support the missions of these original denominations.

Our Vision, Mission and Beliefs

Our mission and vision at Reed Corners Church is to lead people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ, by serving spiritual needs in an environment where people are encouraged and prepared to pursue intimacy with
God, community, and church.
TEACHING THROUGH THE BIBLE
We are a church who believes the Bible is the infallible Word of God.
All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting, and training in righteousness.
